Summer is Here!

Summer must really be here...we broke in our season's passes at Calaway Park! The weather was perfect for a great day with our friends. Since it's only about 10 minutes from our front door to the parking lot at Calaway Park, we'll be heading here a lot this year! LOOKOUT, FUN TIMES AHEAD!

Babies Galore!

My friend Tina had twin boys, Rylan and Spencer, 3 weeks ago! Tina also has an 8 year old son, Joshua, and a 4 year old son, Shane. She is a supermom! Tina, Lisa, Carey and I (and all the kids - except for Tina's eldest, Joshua, who was still at school) had a wonderful playdate at South Glenmore Park!

The big kids (Beck, Shane and Jenna) played on the playground and ran through the splash park, and the little kids (Loic, Jacob, Rylan and Spencer) lounged on the blankets with the moms.

What a great day! I love our friends!

Summer Giggles!

Beck and Ellie spend the day in backyard on Saturday, jumping in the bouncy castle, playing with aqua sand and eating yogurt pops. Can you hear the giggles?

Spruce Meadows with Granny and Grandpa!

Granny and Grandpa took care of Beck all day Friday. Beck called me at work mid-morning to very excitedly tell me that they were going to Spruce Meadows to see the horses and have a picnic! He had a wonderful time, thanks for the special day Granny and Grandpa!

Gymnastics

Beck has been in gymnastics for two sessions now, and absolutely loves it! Aside from all the fun he had, it also helped him with his balance, safe jumping and rolling and becoming more confident doing physical things. I made a lot of new friends with the moms as well, so Beck and I both really looked forward to our Monday afternoons!

Beck and Ellie sat down for a quick photo outside of playschool on pajama day recently. My mother was the first to point out that these two adorable munchkins could have been Nikky and I, 30 (+) years ago. Can you see it too?

Cooking Party!

Beck's friend Katie had her birthday party at a kids kitchen. They rolled out dough, spread pizza sauce and selected and chopped toppings for their very own pizzas, made bunny salads and decorated cupcakes. Beck had just as much fun making his lunch as he did eating it!
